In modern times, disease is largely explained through science, biology, and external causes such as germs, viruses, or genetic predisposition. Yet, ancient wisdom across cultures—from the Vedas and Upanishads to the teachings of Chaldea and Assyria—offers a deeper perspective: that disease is the result of an inner imbalance, specifically the accumulation of moments where we act without love.
The Root of Disease:
Every thought, word, and action carries energy. When our actions are infused with love, they harmonize with life. When they are devoid of love—when we act out of anger, jealousy, gossip, revenge, or indifference—those moments leave behind subtle imprints in our energy field. Over time, these imprints accumulate as disturbances in our aura and manifest in the body as sickness, maladies, and suffering.
In this view, there is only one true “sin”: the rejection of love. To turn away from love is to invite disharmony, which eventually takes physical form as illness.
The Energetic Dimension of Illness:
Clairvoyants and mystics throughout history have observed that negative emotions create “dark spots” in the human aura. These spots are the nests of future disease. They may remain dormant for years, until the accumulated energy disturbs the balance of the body, mind, and emotions.
Even germs, viruses, and microbes—which science names as causes of illness—are not inherently enemies. They too are life forms created by God, each carrying energy and purpose. They become destructive only when our inner shield of love is weakened. Love transforms every energy, including that of germs, into harmony and vitality.
Healing Through Love:
If disease is the absence of love, then healing is the remembrance of love. Medicine and science have their place, but the foundation of health must also include love in thought, speech, and action.
To think with love is to generate harmony in the mind.
To speak with love is to heal relationships and soften the heart.
To act with love is to align ourselves with the creative forces of life.
True health is holistic. It arises not only from physical well-being but also from emotional resilience and spiritual clarity. The greatest protection against disease is a life rooted in love.
